On 16 October 2026, the French government unveiled the third cohort of French Tech 2030: 80 startups across eight strategic technology sectors. NPco is one of them, in the artificial intelligence category.
French Tech 2030 is run by the Mission French Tech. Since 2023, it has selected high-potential companies building breakthrough technologies, most of them born from research, and given them reinforced support from the French state. Each cohort is supported for one year, with a dedicated startup manager and help on financing, sales to public and private buyers, international development and intellectual property.
« NPco développe une IA capable de simuler le comportement physique de systèmes industriels complexes en quelques secondes, là où les méthodes traditionnelles nécessitent des jours voire des semaines de calcul. »
La French Tech, French Tech 2030 program page. Our translation: "NPco develops AI that can simulate the physical behavior of complex industrial systems in seconds, where traditional methods need days or even weeks of computation."
To be selected, a company needs a technology at TRL 6 or above, meaning it has been demonstrated in a relevant environment, and clear signs of research-based innovation. For the engineering teams we work with, it is an independent signal: a state program reviewed the technology behind NPco and its research roots, and chose to back it.
